Cooking class in May 2023-2

The participants in this cooking class were a couple from Switzerland, traveling in Kyushu, Japan. They are also cooking Japanese food in Switzerland. They had a lot of knowledge about Japanese ingredients and we had a good conversation while cooking. We hope that they will cook this dish back in their home town.

We cooked chicken teriyaki, inari sushi, dashimaki omelette, chawanmushi and soup. I served cucumber and squid with sesame vinegar, new potatoes with meat miso and ume-eda mochi. They were delighted and ate all the dishes without leaving any leftovers.

I hope they enjoy the rest of their trip in Japan and return safely to their home town.
