Cooking Class in March-1 2018



Today's guests were 4 ladies from USA. They came to Fukuoka with their friends who came seeing her daughter in Fukuoka.

We went to a local grocery store and looked around Japanese ingredients, and asked a lot of questions.

We were back to my place and started cooking.

Today's menu is below:

Making together

  • Tempura

  • Kimpira renkon(fried lotus root)

  • Japanese style salad with sesame dressing

  • Miso soup with daikon radish and deep-fried tofu

I served Dengaku(grilled deep-fried tofu with miso paste), Nanohana no karasi-ae(rape flower with Japanese masutard sauce, Steamed rice, Ichigo daifuku(straberry wraped with mochi rice cake and red beans paste).

I hope they enjoyed Japanese cooking and dishes.
