I had a cooking class with two women from Hong Kong to enjoy shopping and travelling around Fukuoka.
We went to a local supermarket before cooking. I explained about Japanese ingredients like miso paste, soy sauce, Nori sheets so on.
They bought grapes that is very popular in Autumn called Kyoho. They enjoyed it after lunch.
We made 4 dishes below.
Salmon teriyaki
Japanese style cucumber and prawn salad
Simmered pumpkin
Miso soup with tofu and wakame seaweed
I served Marinated deep-fried pork and egg plant, Steamed rice, hand made Youkan(a bar of red beans paste).
I hope they will enjoy their holiday and go back to their place safely.
