I had a cooking class in Taipei, Taiwan when I was staying at my friend place with her friends.
They were really interested in Japanese dishes. We enjoyed cooking together.
Her uncle gave us lots of bamboo shoots that he picked in his forest. so I made simmered bamboo shoots.
We made 5 dishes below.
Yellowtail teriyaki
Rolled sushi & Inari-zushi
String beans with sesame dressing
Japanese style salad with octopus and cucumber
Japanese egg custard
I served simmered bamboo shoots, clear soup, Mizu-yokan(soft sweet beans jelly).
My friend interpreted to Taiwanese, then they understood how to make Japanese dishes.
I hope they enjoyed the class. We promise next lesson in Taiwan.
