Cooking Class in October 2016 part 2


Today's guests were a couple who are from Finland.

They are travelling in Japan during their holidays. They visited Tokyo and Kyoto, Nara before coming to Fukuoka.

We went to a local supermarket before our class, and I explained about Japanese food that are sold there.

They had many questions and compare the price in their country.

We had talked over a lot of topics of food and cooking.

Today's menu:

1.Tempura

2.Broiled Yellow tail with Teriyaki sauce

3.Chirashi-zushi(Mixed sushi)

4.Spinich with sesame dressing

5.Clear soup

6.Japanese steamed cake with sweet red bean filling)

And I served Daikon radish salad with miso paste dressing, Persimmon.

They requested me to go to shopping, making Japanese sweets with extra fee.

It took so long time to cook all of the menu.

I hope they enjoyed my cooking class.

And I hope he is traveling in Japan safely. Their next destination is New Zealand.
