Cooking Class in October 2016


Today's guest was a Spanish man who is Spanish restaurant's owner in Beijing.

He is travelling in Japan during his holidays. He had cooking lesson in Okinawa before coming to my cooking class.

He has many knowledge about cooking and told me comparisons between Okinawa's food and Kyusyu's one.

We had talked over a lot of topics of food and cooking.

Today's menu:

1.Deep-fried lotus root and eggplant with shrimp paste

2.Niku-jaga(braised beef and potato)

3.Japanese style cucumber and prawn salad

4.Miso soup with tofu and wakame seaweed

And I served Steamed rice, Spinach with sesame dressing, Strings beans with Mentaiko paste, Persimmon.

I hope he enjoyed my cooking class. And I promised him that we'll visit his restaurant when we visit in Beijing.

And I hope he is traveling in Japan safely.
