Cooking class in August 2016 Part 2



Today's cooking class. A guest is from Australia who is travelling Kyusyu.

The menu what we made is, ・Deep-fried lotus root and eggplant with shrimp paste ... ・Niku-jaga(braised beef and potato) ・Japanese style cucumber and prawn salad ・Miso soup with tofu and wakame seaweed ・Steamed rice I served ・Kimpira gobo(fried burdock) ・Spinach with sesame dressing ・Shiratama-dango (dumpling with red beans paste)

His is really interested in Japan. He knew many thing about Japan. We went to a supermarket before the class. He asked me many questions. He is living in Perth, Australia. We stayed there 6 years ago. So we enjoyed talking about Perth a lot. We promised to see him again in Perth. I hope he would have great time in Japan.
